On April 27, the United Russia party faction held a round table at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the theme "Space Entrepreneurship: How Space Technologies Become Solutions for Life, Medicine, and the Urban Economy."
The presidium of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry featured a series of ambitious presentations from colleagues, and I was proud to present my own talk on the future of space infrastructure, laying out our key goal — deploying a 10,000-satellite orbital constellation by 2036. This isn't just a bold idea; it's a carefully calculated project in which private business acts as the integrator and manufacturer of a new technological ecosystem.
"The economic potential of the project is impressive: annual revenue from the key services alone will approach three trillion rubles. But the most important thing we already understand is that success requires bringing together the efforts of government, industry, and the scientific community. And I'm convinced Moscow can be the ideal launchpad for initiatives of this scale."
